The care package drive was a huge success. Thank you to everyone that turned out with items and money for our troops. I am amazed at the generosity of the folks that came. When we planned this event, I simply asked that everyone bring just one item. To my surprise, those who came brought entire grocery bags full of items. Needless to say, we had more stuff than we expected! After boxing up the items, we had 27 large boxes to ship! That is amazing. Again, I would like to say thank you to everyone who came out and helped. I would also like to thank our food sponsor, Jon Chew, with First Integrity Title Agency. The burgers and dogs were delicious. Most of all, thank you to our troops. They are the real heroes.
